MakerSpace: Green Screen Video Making

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Become a confident green screen video film maker! Learn how collaborative student teams can create amazing videos to strengthen and display their knowledge of a range of topics across all curriculum areas. Bring your iPad or phone with the app, Green Screen by Do Ink, in order to make your own video while brainstorming lesson plan ideas for your classroom. Not only will your students work toward mastery in Speaking & Listening: Presentation of Knowledge and Ideas, but they will also target other CCSS goals depending upon the subject of the movie.

The instructor will share several successful classroom green screen projects and offer tips on keeping the curriculum learning objectives in the forefront while managing a classroom of highly energized students. Additional topics we will address are: finding supporting images and are legal to use, using other apps to enhance videos (like iMovie, Telegami, MyCreate, etc.), and ways to share your students' projects.
