MAKER MOVEMENT: Why Making & How Can I Start?

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

The Maker Ed Movement is alive and well here in New Hampshire. Many want to get in the action, but they just do not know why or how making fits into their instruction. Learn about how you can apply standards, student interest, and current pedagogy to provide the foundation for Making in the classroom. After we discuss why Making, we will explore how you can incorporate Making into your instructional goals. STEM challenges and Genius Hour will be highlighted. Participants will leave with lesson ideas, an electronic copy of a sample engineering design process, and reasons for Making in the classroom.

Can’t attend the session, but you would still like resources about Maker Ed? Join the NH Maker Ed G+ community today!
